In November 2014, we worked with the DeVere Venues East Midlands Conference Centre on Blakemore Foodservice’s annual “Catering Awards” evening. Blakemore Foodservice is a multi-temperature food distribution company that supplies the public, multiple and free trade sectors. Blakemore Foodservice’s annual Catering Awards acknowledges and celebrates their customers for their initiative, skill and dedication to the businesses. We supplied a number of services for the awards ceremony, including a large sound system, which was put into use when comedian Rob Brydon and ventriloquist Paul Zerdin provided entertainment for the 260 guests.To add dome glam to the evening we supplied a number of special effects including confetti cannons and pyrotechnics.
They also asked us to shoot a video of the night to be shown right after the final award. The pressure was on as we only had literally 2 minutes after the last piece of footage was recorded to have it ready. Luckily we are used to working under such pressure so it was taken care of.
