The QRx 218S is a compact dedicated subwoofer system that makes use of the exceptional low frequency capabilities of the two powerful EVX-180B 18 inch drivers with 4 inch voice coils. These 18 inch drivers are mounted at the front in an enclosure that is tuned to 36 Hz, delivering solid bass fundamentals.
The QRx-218S delivers 1,200 watt continuous, 4,800-watt peak power handling, offering 133 dB SPL continuous, 139 dB peak output capability at a distance of 1 metre with ease. The QRx-218S enclosure features Electro-Voice’s recessed handles situate on the top and bottom ensuring that it is easy and comfortable to lift the box. Behind the QRx 218S standard version, there are two handles at the top enabling it to be tilted backwards and easily moved with comfort by just one person. The rigging version features two L-tracks to the top and bottom, allowing the system to be hung either vertically or horizontally.
