The Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons annual conference is like no other. During this conference they hold live demonstrations of surgical procedures. The surgery was streamed simultaneously from three operation theatres via a satellite uplink. This event is not for the faint hearted!
In order to show all three theatres at the same time, we used full HD projectors alongside a 3 screen set with the control coming from our Roland XS-83H Matrix Video Switcher allowing individual control to each screen. This also meant we were able to project the sponsors logo at specific points.
Our audio system meant a Q&A session was possible between the operating theatre and the conference venue via in ear monitors for the chairs of each session.
For the lighting we used our Chauvet Professional lighting to add interest to the set, with a colour wash in the organisations colour.
