Case study #1
In 2012, we worked with global giant Lafarge on an event designed to bring the UK arm of their company together for a staff briefing. In addition to supporting the company with audio visual equipment and live video on the day of the event, Stage Connections also designed and built a complex rigging system. In total, we ended up installing approximately 90 rigging points to suspend over 20 separate truss systems.
You can find out more details in the case study box on the right. You can also view photos from the event too see our rigging and truss in action.
Alternatively, you can hire us to build a similar set up for your event.
Case study #2 –
Recently, we worked with XRunner, a company that organises “extreme” obstacle courses throughout the East Midlands.
We supplied truss for two of their events. The first at Osmaston Manor in Derbyshire and the second at the National Watersports Centre in Nottingham.
XRunner wanted to develop a new “monkey bar” feature for one of their obstacle courses. They approached the Stage Connections team for assistance.
The monkey bars needed to be stable enough to float on water and withstand lots of climbing participants.
We designed a structure and used Prolyte S36R trussing for the job. We also employed a structural engineer to double check the structure for health and safety reasons!

XRunner hired our team and used our truss to build monkey bars that floated on water for their extreme obstacle course. This was an unusual job for us, but we like challenges!
